15 year old Keshaun Williams was last seen in Cleveland, Ohio on June 17, 2023. He disappeared after attending a party on Gertrude Avenue in the city’s Broadway Slavic Village neighborhood.
Background
Keshaun Williams was born and raised in Cleveland. He is described as kind and compassionate by loved ones.
He was his mother’s only child, but had several siblings on his father’s side. At the time of his disappearance he was living with his mother in Cleveland.
Disappearance
On June 17, 2023, Keshaun Williams attended a party in the 6000 block of Gertrude Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. He was asked to leave the party, then went to another party in the 6900 block of Gertrude Avenue.
He called his aunt that evening, crying and upset, but didn’t specify what the issue was. She told him to come home.
At 10:38 pm he called his mother, who also told him to come home since it was past curfew. He said he’d be coming home, but never arrived.
His grandmother knew something was wrong when he failed to call her to be picked up for church the following morning.
His family says it’s highly uncharacteristic of him to take off and not be in touch with family.
An Amber Alert was issued for Keshaun in June 2023 and remains active to this day.
Investigation
Keshaun’s phone last pinged near East 93rd and Harris Avenue, about a ten minute drive from the party location.
There was a potential sighting of Keshaun at a gas station about a week after he went missing, with the witness saying he was in the backseat of a black Jeep Cherokee. Authorities reviewed the surveillance footage and don’t believe it was him.
The U.S. Marshals Service is investigating Keshaun’s case, along with the Cleveland Police Department.
Foul play is suspected in his disappearance, with police believing he was abducted. Authorities are looking for a dark colored SUV that had 3 or 4 juveniles in it at the time.
“We have reason to believe he was last seen walking away from the party and entering a dark-colored SUV with a group of juvenile males,” Deputy U.S. Marshal Vince Piccoli said in October 2024.
Appearance
Black male born on December 9, 2007. Keshaun has black hair and brown eyes. He stood 5’6 tall and weighed 125 pounds at the time of his disappearance.
Clothing & Accessories:
Keshaun was last seen wearing a cream colored jogging suit with white and blue lettering and grey Nike Jordan tennis shoes.
