87 year old Petro Kuqo was last seen in Largo, Florida on December 12, 2025. He disappeared after walking out his his apartment on Oak Trail West around 9:00 am.
Background
Petro recently moved to Largo from Greece and has been diagnosed with dementia. He lives in an apartment at The Pointe at Clearwater, just off US 19 south of Belleair Road.
Disappearance
Around 9:00 am on December 12, 2025, Petro Kuqo walked out of his apartment on Oak Trail West in Largo, Florida. He walked out while everyone else in the family was sleeping and never returned.
He was last seen on surveillance footage wandering though the complex parking lot.
Kuqo does not speak English, and left without his cellphone, wallet, and ID. He has been diagnosed with dementia and was last seen wearing a grey pajama type shirt, dary grey sweatpants, and Sketcher slides.
His family kept an Air Tag in his wallet, because previous to this disappearance he never left home without it.
Investigation
The Largo Police Department conducted multiple searches with the help of K9 units and drones, but no further clues as to his whereabouts have been found.
Police are asking everyone near 1845 Oak Trail West to check their surveillance and doorbell cameras for any possible sightings.
Appearance
Petro has brown eyes, grey hair, stands 5’3 tall, and weighs approximately 165 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a grey pajama-style shirt, dark grey sweatpants, and black Sketchers slides.
