On March 14, 2010, Rafael Eduardo Ruiz went to the beach with his friend, Sofya Andrejevna Seletskaya. They met up with a couple of males, and Ruiz walked away from the group at some point, leaving all his belongings behind.
Ruiz hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Ruiz did not have access to his vehicle at the time of his disappearance, as his girlfriend had it. It is unknown where he was headed when he walked away. Few details are available in his case.
